Abstract
Radially-compressed, flexible-walled columns were compared to rigid-walled columns for the reversed-phase separation of twenty compounds of biological importance. The radially-compressed columns were found to be efficient and reproducible, and enable the analysis time of human serum to be reduced by 50%. The effect of pH, flow-rate, and changing methanol concentration upon the separation of some compounds on the radially-compressed column is also presented. Keywords
