Abstract
The vibration‐rotation band ν2 in the heavy water vapor (D2O) spectrum has been remeasured. An analysis of the rotational structure has been carried out. From the interpretation of the data the band center, as well as the value of the reciprocals of inertia have been determined. The band center is found to be 1178.45 cm—1 and the reciprocals of inertia are A (V) = 16.650 cm—1, B (V) = 7.345 cm—1, and C (V) = 4.795 cm—1.Keywords
