Abstract
The relation between the charge transfer between hemispheres and the decrease of the -prong cross section with energy is examined in several multiperipheral models and compared to preliminary experimental data. The data for charge transfer shows about equal amounts of neutral and charge transfer. Certain isospin-conserving models (the and models) fail to predict this, while other more general models simplify at this symmetry point. One of these new isospin models appears to be realistic.
