Abstract
A recurrent case of corneal infection caused by Curvularia lunata is described in a patient with a history of an eye injury. The diagnosis of mycotic keratitis was besed on the demonstration of dematiaceous, chlamydospore-bearing mycelium in screapings from the eye and the repeated isolation of the same organism from the eye. The etiology of eye infections caused by opportunistic fungi is briefly reviewed and the criteria for establishing a diagnosis of a fungous infection of the eye are discussed. Keywords
