Abstract
Large‐signal MESFET microwave oscillator design is a nontrivial problem, involving nonlinear analysis, or extensive and time consuming load‐pull methods. A computer‐aided oscillator design technique employing nonlinear analysis in conjunction with optimization to identify the device best operating condition, for maximum output power, is described. Experimental verification at Ku band is presented. Keywords
