Abstract
Silicate nanocapsules including self-aggregates of zinc methyl 3-devinyl-3-hydroxymethyl-pyropheophorbide-a (zinc chlorin) and methyl bacteriopyropheophorbide-a (bacteriochlorin) were prepared by a sol-gel process. Excitation energy transfer from self-aggregates of zinc chlorins to an energy-accepting bacteriochlorin occurred in the silicate nanocapsule, which was similar to a light-harvesting complex (chlorosome) of green photosynthetic bacteria. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
