Abstract
The sequence of the amino acid residues in the peptide chain of the aglycone was shown on the basis of data concerning the splitting of the actinoidin aglycone and the products of its partial acid hydrolysis by various methods. The free COOH-group of actinoidin belonged to the glycine residue of the dioxyphenyl nucleus of the actinoidinic amino acid. The site of the actinosamine attachment to the aglycone was determined. The final structure of actinoidins A and B is suggested. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
