Abstract
Substrate noise is a serious concern and a limitation in mixed-mode, analogue-digital, CMOS integrated circuits. The use of forward-biased n+p– guard-ring diodes which resonate with substrate lead inductance is demonstrated by simulations to be effective in reducing this substrate noise by an order of magnitude.Keywords
