Abstract
A method is proposed for a detailed summative analysis of roughages, in which the determinations of crude fibre and of nitrogen‐free extractives are replaced by determinations of the sugars of which the soluble and structural carbohydrates are composed, of pure cellulose and of lignin.Keywords
