Abstract
This paper demonstrates multi-octave, milliwatt-class millimeter-wave synthesis using three key components: an optical frequency comb generator, an optical injection-locking filter, and a unitraveling-carrier photodiode. The experimental system synthesizes 10-110-GHz millimeter-wave signals with 3-dBm output at 60 GHz. Phase noise results are also presented. Keywords
