Abstract
Commercially available topical cortisol preparations, Alphaderm, Calmurid HC, Efcortelan and Topisone, had trace quantities of 3H-cortisol added to them. The resultant radiolabeled creams were applied to the pig dorsum and steroid penetration was assessed. Alphaderm delivered approximately 16.0 times more cortisol to the skin than Topisone, .apprx. 8.0 times more than Efcortelan and .apprx. 3.0 times more than Calmurid HC.This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
