Abstract
The present paper describes a new method for measuring the transfer function (TF) of a spectroscopic system by using a sinusoidally modulated spectrum (SMS) and its experimental verification for a plane grating spectrometer of the Czerny-Turner type. The SMS can be obtained by introducing light of broad spectral width into the Michelson interferometer. Keywords
