Abstract
Using the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei, the magnetic hyperfine splitting frequencies of the 11/ state in ( sec; keV) in Fe and Ni have been determined as MHz and MHz. Taking the known hyperfine fields of in Fe and Ni and correcting for hyperfine anomalies a value of is derived for the nuclear factor of .
