Abstract
The Francis scale of attitude towards Christianity Form ASC4B, developed originally for use among eight‐ to 16‐year‐old pupils attending non‐denominational schools in south‐east England, was completed by 4,405 pupils, aged 11 to 16 years, from non‐denominational secondary schools in Dundee. The results support the unidimensionality, reliability and validity of this attitude scale for pupils from a different geographical region. Norms are produced for pupils attending non‐denominational secondary schools in Dundee, with reference to boys and girls from each separate age‐group. These norms are discussed in relationship to the published norms for pupils attending non‐denominational, state‐maintained secondary schools in England. Keywords
