Jψpair production in hadronic collisions

Abstract
Resonance productions of Jψ pairs in πp and pp collisions are calculated in a Drell-Yan-type mechanism with gluon fusion via the color vector-dominance model. The calculated cross sections and the longitudinal-momentum distributions are consistent with the πpJJX data at pL=150 and 280 GeV/c. They are 20-30 times larger than the perturbative QCD results for qq¯ggJJ. Calculations for the resonance productions of Jω, D*D¯*, Jφ, F*F¯*, ϒϒ, ϒω, B*B¯*, ϒφ, Bs*B¯s*, ϒJ, and Bc*B¯c* in πp and pp collisions are also presented.
