Abstract
The electrical resistivity of amorphous Ca70Mg30 alloys has been measured over the temperature range 4-300K. The absolute value and temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity have been calculated on the basis of the generalised Faber-Ziman theory, without an adjustable parameter. Excellent agreement between theory and experiment is found for a plane-wave phonon model. Keywords
