Abstract
Arthroderma lenticularum (Gymnoascaceae) is a keratinophylic soil fungus isolated 13 times in California. It possess the conidial form of A. quadrifidum Dawson et Gentles and the peridial form of A. uncinatum Dawson et Gentles, and is further characterized by its yellow pigmentation on agar media. However, the most reliable method of identification and separation of it from A. quadrifidum and other Arthroderma spp. was that of mating incompatibility. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
