Abstract
This paper describes experimental studies of multiple scattering of 13 different heavy ions with in the energy range of 200-1000 keV, transmitted through thin (8-25 μg/) carbon foils. The agreement between our experimental data, recent theoretical calculations, and published experimental data is found to be satisfactory, although a small systematic deviation exists for thicker foils.
