Abstract
Summary A cytoplasmically determined character in the tomato cv Sano is described. The plants were free from symptoms of silvering or leaf distortion and no associated agronomic defects were seen under normal growing conditions. Its use as a means of eliminating tomato silvering is recommended. At low temperature this cytoplasm results in white foliar flecking, which might be a disadvantage if the present trend towards lower glasshouse temperatures continues. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
