Abstract
New host records for S. rileyi are Aythya americana, A. valisineria, and Bucephala clangula. The incidence of sarcosporidiosis in wild waterfowl is discussed, and a possible explanation is offered for the fact that the disease is observed only in adults. The life cycle, as presently understood, is briefly reviewed. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
