Devenir mère dans le contexte des multithérapies antirétrovirales

Abstract
Becoming mother in HAART context This paper focuses on reproductive life course of HIV-infected women, in the context of HIV chronicisation. Twenty semi-structured in-depth interviews of HIV infected women of the French MANIF 2000 cohort were analysed to study the effects of a lower viral transmission risk during the second part of nineties on pregnancy decision making. Results show more pregnancies since 1996 and better doctor acceptance in relation with a good women health and compliance to an antiretroviral the- rapy. Reproductive behaviours normalisation is also related to the stop of drug addiction and stable relationships with the main partner.
