Abstract
A group of 13 patients with high tone deafness was treated with 3.0 g. oral inositol daily for periods of 1-12 mos. No change resulted in the fasting plasma inositol phosphatide concn.; there were minor increases in total and free cholesterol and total phospholipids, and there was an apparent decrease in neutral fat. Keywords
