Abstract
Further evidence is given here of a mitogenic response to phytohaemagglutinin by human B lymphocytes. Immunofluorescent staining of unfractionated lymphocytes, and thymidine uptake by column purified populations of B and T cells, indicates that the dose–time response of these two populations is comparable. PHA transformation of B lymphocytes appears to be reduced or absent in chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
