Abstract
The authors report three cases of encapsulated urinary extravasation as a late complication of ureterolithotomy and pyelolithotomy. Surgical treatment saved the kidney in two cases, in the third case nephrectomy had to be done. The pathological mechanism, diagnostic methods and treatment of this complication are discussed in light of the observed cases and a survey of the pertinent literature. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
