Abstract
The decay through a -conserving, two-photon intermediate state is studied in a vector-meson-dominant model. The branching ratio is found to be ≈. If, in addition, a quark model is assumed for the photon-pseudoscalar-vector-meson vertex, we obtain a value of 1.3× eV for the decay width of . General features of the decay spectrum with respect to the sum and difference of the electron and positron energies in the rest frame are discussed.
