Abstract
A fit to the leading meson recurrences and to the proton-proton, proton-antiproton total cross-section difference is obtained using a dual four-point function which has composite particle properties and which has previously been successful in fitting large-angle proton-proton scattering data. Physical implications of the fit are discussed, an estimate of the quark-gluon coupling constant is made, and a phenomenologically useful form of the four-point function is obtained. Keywords
