Nuclear-Structure Studies with (d, p) and (d, t) Reactions onCd106

Abstract
Energy and angular distributions from (d, p) reactions induced by 12-MeV deuterons and (d, t) reactions induced by 16-MeV deuterons on Cd106 were measured. Neutron l-transfer assignments, spin-parity assignments, and spectroscopic strengths were obtained for 25 of the 28 proton groups observed in Cd106(d, p) and for 3 of the 7 triton groups observed in Cd106(d, t). The ground-state Q value of Cd106(d, t)Cd105 reaction was found to be -4.661 ± 0.05 MeV.
