Abstract
A 8‐methoxypsoralen<4556>thymidine C4‐monoadduct was photolyzed with tetramethylethylene to obtain an analogue of thymidine<5645>‐methoxypsoralen<3456>thymidine C4‐diadducts. The structure of the adduct was determined by physical methods and a triplet manifold was proposed as the reactive state for the photocycloaddition reaction.This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
