Abstract
Patients with articular disease may have presumptive signs and symptoms of thrombophlebitis caused by dissection or rupture of a popliteal cyst. Ten patients had inflammatory or infectious arthritis and this syndrome. Joint scanning, after intra-articular injection of iodinated I 131 serum albumin, provided a simple, definitive, and innocuous technique for establishing the diagnosis. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
