Abstract
The relationship between body size and age in two species of Collembola,Folsomia CandidaandXenylla grisea, was studied in three temperature regimes. Power curves were used to describe length as a function of age for each species-temperature combination. Growth parameters (slopes of the log-log curves) and length at hatch (log intercepts) were compared by multiple regression.
