Abstract
Further experimental and theoretical studies of the thermally detected EPR spectra observed in chromium-doped GaP crystals are described. Several resonances are attributed to strain-stabilised Cr3+ ions and some others to Cr3+ ions in zero- or small-strained sites. It is concluded that the Cr3+ ions occupy isolated substitutional sites. Keywords
