Abstract
This article examines the development of experiential learning groups in terms of their social values and the socioeconomic conditions leading to their growth. In addition, and more importantly, it will attempt to prophesy the future of the human relations/experiential movement by a detailed examination of four socioeconomic trends: Anglo-American orientation of the movement, production and growth trends of advanced capitalist economies, shifting age structure, and the changes in the expression of middle-class needs. These issues are considered in the context of the developing and developed countries separately. Keywords
