Abstract
The geometrical branching model for soft production in hadronic collisions is developed into a Monte Carlo code, called ECCO, in which the eikonal formalism is combined with cluster cascades. The model not only can account for the global features of multiparticle production, but is also designed to describe the properties of rapidity fluctuations in small rapidity bins. With the use of five parameters ECCO can simultaneously simulate all the data on , , , , , , and , for ranging from 10 to 65 GeV, nearly all within error bars.
