Abstract
A case of transorbital cranial injury by a chopstick is reported. A 38–year–old woman had sudden loss of right vision, superior orbital fissure syndrome and contralateral hemiplegia after a stab wound in the conjunctival fornix. Computerized tomographic scans and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a long fragment of chopstick ranging from the medial orbital cavity through the superior orbital fissure and the cavernous sinus to the pons. the intracranial portion of the foreign body was removed uneventfully, and the patient survived. Keywords
