Sputtering yields of random solids by kev light-ion bombardment: A new model

Abstract
A new model has been presented for the sputtering of heavy random targets by KeV light-ion, which is free from fitting parameters. The good agreement with experiments suggests that when only primary recoils are taken into account this phenonenon is also described by linear transport theory.Keywords
