$Δ T = 1$ constraints and final-state interactions in two-body charm decay

Abstract

It is shown that the enhancement of the

D^{0} \to {\bar{K}}^{0} π^{0}

weak amplitude induced by final-state interactions is tempered by constraints of the

Δ T = 1

rule for Cabibbo-allowed nonleptonic charm decay.
