Abstract
The admn. of thiouracil to 18 patients with hyperthyroidism was followed by a remission in the symptoms of the disease. There was a fall in BMR and in protein-bound plasma iodine. The fall in BMR and the fall in the circulating protein-bound I were proportional. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
