Abstract
SUMMARY: Incubation of 7α-hydroxydehydroepiandrosterone or its sulphate with cultures of ovarian or placental tissue yielded 7α-hydroxyoestrone, 7α-hydroxyoestradiol and a product tentatively characterized as 7-oxo-oestradiol. These results show that the ovary can be the source of 7-oxygenated oestrogens. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
