Abstract
The hentetracontapeptide amide corresponding to the entire amino acid sequence of human corticotropin releasing factor (hCRF), deduced from the complementary DNA (cDNA) sequence analysis, was synthesized by assembling 9 peptide fragments in solution followed by deprotection with 1 M trifluoromethanesulfonic acid-thioanisole (molar ratio 1:1) in trifluoroacetic acid. The synthetic peptide significantly elevated the immunoreactive corticotropin level in rat plasma. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
