Abstract
Starting with 2,6-dichlorophenyl isothiocyanate, 1-(2-aminoethyl)-2-cyano-3-(2,6-dichlorophenyl)guanidine was prepared in 3 steps. In contrast to the corresponding thiourea 1, this compound was essentially inactive as an antihypertensive agent [in animal models].This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
