Abstract
A 36-residue peptide amide corresponding to the entire amino acid sequence of chicken antral peptide was synthesized by assembling seven peptide fragments via the azide, followed by thioanisole-mediated deprotection with trimethylsilyl bromide and trimethylsiyl trifluoromethanesulfonate in trifluoroacetic acid. The synthetic peptide stiumulated gastric secretion, but not pancreatic secretion. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
