Abstract
A semiempirical method of determining the stopping power of valence electrons in metals and compounds is proposed, so that direct Monte Carlo calculations which take into account individual inelastic electron‐electron collisions can be performed. The method is appliled to aluminum and poly(methylmethacrylate) as examples. Keywords
