Abstract
Our results of active immunity tests in mice recieving a single dose of poliomyelitis vaccine diluted in a five-fold series and challenged intravenously 3 days later with a special strain of type 2 virus confirm the results reported by Kretch. We have extended these mouse tests to include types 1 and 3 with challenge doses given intraspinally. Dilutions of vaccine of 1:125 to 1:625 give evidence of antigenicity in these tests which may be completed in 11 days. Keywords
