ReactionsK−d→K¯0π−dandK−d→K¯0π−npsat 5.5 GeV/c

Abstract
New data are presented on cross sections and angular distributions of resonances produced in the reactions KdK¯0πd and KdK¯0πnps at 5.5 GeV/c. The production mechanisms and decay angular distributions are analyzed for the K¯*(890), K¯*(1420), and Δ(1236) resonances. The K¯0πnps final state is discussed in terms of the Veneziano B5 model and also using the Van Hove longitudinal-phase-space technique. In addition, a Regge model with absorption is used to describe Δ(1236) production in the reaction K¯NK¯Δ(1236). The spherical harmonic moments of the K¯0π system as a function of Kπ mass are discussed for the reaction KdK¯0πp+MM.
