Abstract
Fine structure is observed on cyclotron and spin-flip resonances of the holes in bismuth at far-infrared frequencies. The structure is interpreted in terms of the finalstate interactions of the excited electron-hole pair produced in the absorption. The binding energies of the inter-sub-band excitons calculated from a microscopic theory are in agreement with the experiments. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
