Abstract
One hundred patients with sprained ankles were randomly allocated to treatment with Ibuprofen 800 mg × 3 daily and placebo and to treatment with two qualities of compression bandaging. Neither Ibuprofen nor high quality bandaging had a significant effect on the swelling, pain or tenderness.Keywords
