Abstract
The fluorine superhyperfine structure (SHFS) in the EPR spectrum of Gd3+ in cubic environment has been investigated in CdF2 crystals. The measured 9 GHz EPR spectra of the SHFS are explained using the formalism of Ranon and Hyde and the principal values of the SHFS tensor from the ENDOR results of Borcherts, Cole, and Horn. A formula for the intensities of the SHFS lines is presented. Keywords
