Abstract
L-thyroxine and L-triiodothyronine inhibit heparin-catalyzed release of fatty acid from lipoprotein triglycerides, the former inhibiting significantly at 3 x 10-4 [image] and being about 3-fold more effective than the latter at equimolar concentrations. Inhibition does not result from the removal of Ca or Mg ions or heparin. Keywords
