Abstract
Quantitative experimental results for the logarithmic corrections to the Landau specific heat are reported for the dipolar Ising ferromagnet LiTb near its Curie temperature K. The power of the leading logarithmic term is found to be 0.34±0.03, and the corresponding amplitude ratio is 0.24±0.01. These results are in agreement with the predicted values of and ¼, respectively.
