Abstract
In 14 patients with BPH or carcinoma of the prostate, plasma testosterone levels significantly decreased 1½ to 4 months after administration of 3 g/week, im, of Delalutin or 100 mg daily, by mouth, of Chlormadinone. No significant changes in total or fractional urinary estrogens or total neutral 17-ketosteroids were noted, although a transient rise in 17-ketogenic steroids occurred. Keywords
